BIO
Amy Jones is a photojournalist and storyteller spotlighting urgent issues affecting animals and the environment. Since 2018, she has worked across ten countries to document the realities of the wildlife trade, intensive farming, and animal testing, while also exploring stories of sanctuary, hope, and resilience. Through compelling visual storytelling, Jones seeks to reframe our perspective of animals as sentient beings with intrinsic value, and to inspire others to take action.
Increasingly, her focus is on the connection between humanity’s exploitation of animals and environmental degradation — from the destruction of keystone species and the cascading impact on ecosystems, to the environmental consequences of intensive animal farming.
Her work has informed the campaigns of animal and conservation groups worldwide, been featured in more than 150 major media outlets, and recognised by leading wildlife and photojournalism awards.
