Awards ceremony gala
The MontPhoto 2025 Awards Gala is one of the most special moments of the festival. A night to celebrate nature photography in all its splendor, meet the award winners, and be moved by the images that have made us look at the world through different eyes.
During the gala, the winning photographs will be revealed, selected from thousands of images submitted from all corners of the globe. An international jury evaluated not only the technical quality but also the power of the message, the emotion, and the personal perspective behind each work. The selection process took place over two months, with several online rounds and a final in-person session. This year’s jury was composed of Morgan Heim, Diana Crestan, Heike Odermatt, Francis Pérez, and Eladio Rodríguez.
Categories and awards
At the gala, we will discover this year’s best images: from wildlife, landscapes, and the underwater world to environmental photojournalism and art in nature. Awards will also be presented for photographic collections, including the Portfolio prize and the new Storytelling – Agustí M. Vilà category. In addition, Changing Planet will give a voice to young photographers under 25 with a critical and committed perspective. An unmissable event for those who love photography and nature.
